Renovation of a municipal facility in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin. Working plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
This solicitation will be updated and restructured. A new solicitation will be submitted for bidding at a later date. The Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS), requests bids to replace boiler controllers on boiler #4 in the Heating Plant at the Northern Wisconsin Center. Questions may be directed to jeannea.morrison@wisconsin.gov Scope of Work Provide labor and material to replace five (5) single loop boiler controllers used to operate boiler #4 at the Northern Wisconsin Center (NWC) Heating Plant. This water tube boiler generates up to 20,000 pounds of saturated steam per hour. The boiler has a design rating of 350 psig but operates at 110 psig. Primary fuel is natural gas with no. 2 fuel oil as a back up fuel. The five existing Preferred PCC-II controllers perform the following functions on boiler #4: 1. Boiler submaster controlling boiler firing rate 2. Forced draft fan operation 3. Oxygen trim, boiler efficiency, flue gas temperature, ambient air temperature 4. Drum level and steam flow 5. Boiler draft Scope includes five single loop controllers,24 volt DC power supply, programming the new controllers, and labor to install the controllers.
