Renovation of a mixed-use development in Craigsville, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a detention facility; and power facility.
The purpose of this Quick Quote is to contract with one (1) Contractor to repair one (1) Sawdust Handling System - Critical Repair at Augusta Correctional Center, Power Plant. 1. Repair one (1) sawdust handling system 2. Furnish all labor, material, equipment, incidentals, and travel necessary to complete repair 3. Remove the damaged and deteriorated elevated section of the sawdust ductwork shoot and the top cap of the bucket elevator 4. Fabricate and install new section for the damaged and deteriorating ductwork feed system with a new shoot and top cap of the bucket elevator 5. Perform work during normal working hours. Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. 6. Provide to the Purchasing Agency, a current Certificate of Insurance (COI) upon award of Contract. Work will not begin on DOC property until a current COI is received. New materials will consist of 11 gauge carbon steel with a 2' x 2' steel frame with access panels on each end of the shoot and replace required insulation. The purpose of the Mandatory Site-Visit is to allow potential bidders an opportunity to present questions and obtain clarification relative to any facet of this solicitation. Any bidder who has visited the job site to inspect the full scope of work to be completed and confirmed by DOC will not be required to attend.
