The City is soliciting bids for the project known as the 2022 Sewer Pipeline Rehabilitation - Wilberforce area. Reconstruction of approximately 24,500 feet of existing sewer pipelines and conduits by installation of cured, resin-impregnated flexible tube, clean and camera sewer mains and install pipe patches in the Wilberforce, Ohio Bids are to be submitted on the following proposal: reconstruction of approximately 24,500 feet of existing sewer pipelines and conduits by installation of cured, resin-impregnated flexible tube; clean and camera sewer mains; and install pipe patches, all as directed by the City Engineer, and in accordance with the Conditions, Specifications, Plans and/or Drawings included in the bid packet. Bids are to be submitted on a per unit basis and are to be for complete work (including all equipment, labor and materials). Pursuant to ORC Section 153.54, no bid shall be considered unless it is accompanied by a Bid Bond for the full amount of the bid -OR- a cashier's check or certified check, issued by a responsible bank or trust company and payable to the order of the City of Xenia, or a letter of credit issued in accordance with ORC Chapter 1305., in the sum of at least ten percent (10%) of the bid. The bid guaranty or bid bond shall be enclosed with the sealed bid. The attention of Bidders is directed to the special statutory provisions governing the prevailing rate of wages to be paid to laborers and mechanics employed on this Project under Ohio's Prevailing Wage Law, and to the contract provisions required under the federal Uniform Guidance contained in 2 CFR Part 200, and any other federal requirements regarding the expenditure of ARPA funds. The City of Xenia reserves the right to reject any and all Bids and to waive any discrepancies or irregularities in the Bids. The Bid will be awarded, in the City's discretion, to the lowest and best Bidder(s). The design of this project was completed by the owner's in-house design professional.
