Site work for a water / sewer project in Prescott, Arizona. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
This project has two distinct components, aeration and fish barrier. A fish barrier will be installed across the Watson Lake dam and spillway to prevent herbivorous fish from migrating downstream. A rope log feature will also be installed to reduce the amount of woody debris that could reach and compromise the barrier structure. Bottom diffuse aerators will also be installed at various points within the lake, which may require power to some of the sites. The initial stocking of fish in Watson Lake will also be included upon successful completion of the work. This project is in included in the City of Prescott's FY 2025-2029 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). As of March 10, 2025, information regarding a design firm and the general contractor selection timeline has not been disclosed. A firm construction timeline has not been released. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
