**As of June 04, 2025, the project was awarded to Asphalt Paving & Supply, Inc., with an awarded amount of $4,399,541 .** The scope of work includes furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment, fixtures and services required for 2 inch asphaltic concrete overlay on 5.7 miles of Senator Highway from Upper Sky Terrace to the end of pavement. The project includes approximately 13,087 tons of asphaltic concrete overlay with PG 64-22 binder. Other associated work includes removal and disposal of 17,906 linear feet of existing guardrail and reinstallation of 15,300 linear feet of new guardrail with 70 new guardrail end treatments, installation of 2 concrete catch basins, full depth removal and replacement of 6,667 square yards of failing pavement sections, installation of 3 mailbox pullouts with concrete pads for cluster mailbox units, removal and reinstallation of 209 linear feet of embankment curb, and re-establishing existing pavement markings throughout the project. All work is to be done in accordance with the plans, specifications, and contract documents. All proposals shall be submitted in strict accordance with the INSTRUCTIONS FOR BIDDING included on the website and submitted on the documents provided therein. Bids shall include all applicable taxes and must be accompanied by a proposal guaranty in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, or surety bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the contract price bid, made payable to the Yavapai County Board of Supervisors. Bidders shall be responsible for any licenses or permits required by the regulatory agency of the State of Arizona that apply to the performance of this contract. The Board of Supervisors of Yavapai County reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive formalities, and to accept the bid deemed to be in the best interest of Yavapai County.
