Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Goose Creek, South Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
As of November 07th, 2022, project was awarded to Truluck Construction Inc. for $343,046.25. The start date for construction is yet to be determined The City of Goose Creek is seeking proposals from licensed contractors for the repair / resurface of the asphalt parking lots around the Public Works Building. The proposals are to include a copy of the contractor's license and liability insurance certificate. The proposals should detail two phases of work: (1) Repair/resurface front asphalt parking lot by milling existing 2" of asphalt, installing 2" of new asphalt, and restriping. Some areas of the parking lot will require full depth patching. (2) Repair/resurface back asphalt parking lot by milling existing 2" of asphalt, installing 2" of new asphalt, and restriping. Some areas of the parking lot will require full depth patching. The proposals will also include optional pricing for the repair/resurface and striping of Button Hall Avenue and associated access driveways to the front and back parking lots of the Public Works Building. Phased construction will be required to allow continued operation of the site. Warranty information related to the materials and workmanship should also be included in the proposal. Site visits should be scheduled in advance to ensure availability of all areas.
