The child care services are provided by individual, licensed vendors. Lack of local child care service vendors has resulted in forcing the program to plan, construct, and operate a program-run child care center. It is expected that a decision selecting the successful company will be made within two (2) weeks of the closing date for the receipt of the proposal. b. Upon Conclusion of final negotiations with the successful firm, all Offerors will be informed in writing. Specification Schedule A. Project Description Fort Peck Child Care Services seeks proposals from companies to construct, deliver, and install a 60' X 60' modular childcare/classroom building. The classrooms within the building will provide child care services to a total of 40-44 children. Classroom one will provide services to eight to ten children ages 0-17 months. Classroom two will provide services for up to 12-16 children ages 18-36 months. Classroom three will provide services up to 20 children ages 4-7. There will be approximately two employees per classroom. The modular building will be located on existing land owned by the Fort Peck Tribes. The project site location will be by the New Community Hall in Wolf Point, Montana 59201. The specifics concerning the site will be provided prior to delivery, with cost adjustments made for any variation in address. A site plan will be developed by an engineer and delivered by a general contractor separate from the modular contract. The firm shall coordinate and cooperate with the personnel of the Fort Peck Tribes and all other contractors associated with the building project. Attachment 1 is a draft layout for the building. B. Scope of Work The Contractor is responsible for the design, engineering, and construction of the prefinished modular building, payment of applicable permits and fees (including any shop inspections), quality control, transportation of the modular building from the shop to the site, installing modular building on a prepared foundation system, and inspection of the installed modular building. The building shall be constructed ADA compliant. C. Delivery Schedule A projected timeline for completing the project will be outlined, including delivery time, installation, training, and completion dates from the date the order is received. The delivery schedule will be coordinated with the Childcare Development Program with definite installation completion of June 1, 2023. Technical Qualifications A minimum of five years of experience is required in the design, fabrication, and installation of modular buildings. Please provide examples of past projects involving fabrication of daycare/classroom facilities serving youth 8 years and under. Proposal Evaluation A. Submission of Proposals All proposals shall include the building's specifications and pricing information. These documents will become part of the contract. The successful company shall: a.Have successful experience working with daycare/classroom modular buildings b.Provide a minimum of three references The proposal shall also contain: a. An itemized breakdown of all costs b. A project schedule, specifying delivery, and installation schedule, start and end dates. B. Nonresponsive Proposals Proposals may be judged nonresponsive and removed from futher consideration if any of the following occur: a. The proposal is not received timely in accordance with the terms of the RFP. b. The proposal does not include all of the items listed in the RFP. Right to Reject: The Fort Peck Tribes reserve the right to reject any and all proposals received in response the RFP. A contract for the accepted proposal will be based upon the factors described under Proposal Evaluation in this RFP.
