The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a Faithful Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond each in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price. Each bond shall be in the forms set forth herein, shall be secured from a surety company that meets all State of California bonding requirements, as defined in California Code of Civil Procedure Section 995.120, and that is a California admitted surety insurer. Scope of Work The City intends to award a contract for work roofing repairs on 6805 Airport Road. This is a one-story building with a flat roof and old tar/gravel on the roof. Wood is bad on the eaves and fascia boards. Work will include tear off old materials and reroof with white or gray T.P.O. membrane and fan board system. Installation of new underlayment, ice and water shield or fanfold system. Install terminal bar/clad metal. Install 1-piece three-inch jack. Install vents as needed. Bid will include wood repair on eaves for the left and right side only. In addition to the bid for the work described above; bidder will need to add the labor rate and material rate for any additional work that may be needed once repairs are started. Insurance Requirements Contractor shall maintain and shall require all of its subcontractors, consultants, and other agents to maintain the insurance listed below. Coverage should be at least as broad as Insurance Services Office (ISO) CG 00 01, including but not limited to the requirements listed below. Any requirement for insurance to be maintained after completion of the work shall survive this agreement.
