Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The work generally includes the extension of Beach Street to connect with Park Street to make one new continuous crescent. Work on the project consist generally of, but not limited to, the following: .1 Removals and disposals .2 Environmental protection .3 Accommodating existing infrastructure .4 Construction of new road, sidewalks and curbs .5 New water services .6 New sanitary services .7 New storm sewer and catch basins .8 Reinstatement .9 Traffic Control Any questions, ambiguities, inconsistencies, or uncertainties in the Contract Documents which may become apparent to Tenderers when tendering shall be advised IN WRITING to: tenders@charlottetown.ca not less than three (3) working days before Tender closing. Documents are available at https://www.charlottetown.ca/ The Contractor shall, prior to commencement of the Work, provide to the Owner a Performance Bond and a Labour and Materials Bond, each in the amount of 50% of the Total Contract Price (including HST). Should it become apparent that the final cost of the project will exceed the Estimated Amount Due by more than 10%, the Contractor shall arrange to have his bonds reissued, based on the projected final cost
