The project is expected to be awarded on December 13, 2022.** The principle features of the work will consist of removing from service by grout filling and/or capping approximately 11,500 linear feet of existing asbestos cement (AC) water main and replacing with polyvinylchloride (PVC) and ductile iron (DI) water main to include 9,300 linear feet of 6-inch PVC, 930 linear feet of 6-inch DI, 880 linear feet of 4-inch PVC, 400 linear feet of 2-inch PVC, casing pipe, taps to existing system, renew service lines, new fire hydrant assemblies, remove fire hydrant assemblies, fittings as required, landscape removal and replacement, sodding disturbed right-of-way areas, maintenance of traffic (MOT), as-builts and coordination of notices to residences and other ancillary items for a complete and operational system.
