Demolition and site work for a civil project in Martinsburg, West Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; and for the demolition of a water / sewer project.
The Project includes the following Work: The installation of approximately 1,450 LF of Gravity Sewer Pipe, 13 Manholes, 670 LF of Steel Casing with 12" Carrier Pipe (Bore and Jack OR Horizontal Directional Drill), and all necessary related appurtenances. This Project shall also include the Demolition of the Existing Wastewater Treatment Plant at the Midway Mobile Home Park. The Work will be substantially completed within 150 calendar days after the date when the Contract Times commence to run, and completed and ready for final payment within 180 days after the date when the Contract Times commence to run. Liquidated damages shall be $1,000 per day. A bidder may not withdraw his bid for a period of ninety (90) days after the date set for the opening of bids. Bids shall be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to Berkeley County Public Service Sewer District in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the base bid. The Berkeley County Public Service Sewer District reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
