The City of Marion is soliciting Statements Of Qualifications ("SOQ") for Construction Manager at Risk (CMaR) services to provide construction services for its project described in this RFQ (the "Project"). The Project will be constructed at 1001 7th Avenue, Marion Iowa 52302. This request invites qualified firms to submit an SOQ for accomplishment of the items of work described below under the Project Description and Scope of Work. SOQs shall be prepared and submitted in accordance with the requirements described in this RFQ After evaluation of the RFQs, the City will release a Request for Proposals (RFP) to the qualified firms. After the City selects the successful proposer, the City will negotiate a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) contract with the successful proposer. The main components are under preliminary design but include the following: 1. Depot Renovations (closing in and addition for ice equipment) 2. Ice Loop and associated mechanical equipment 3. Plaza Sprays 4. Stream 5. Fire Tables 6. Artistic Play Sculpture 7. Plant Beds 8. Lighting 9. Move Caboose to new location 10. Multitude of hard and softscape components as well as infrastructure upgrades in the area . City representative will open and read aloud the names of the firms who submit Statements of Qualification. The City reserves the right to waive any deficiencies in any RFQ responses and to decide which firms are qualified to submit a proposal in the best interest of the City.
