Site work and paving for a road / highway in Freeland, Washington. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The work to be performed by the CONSULTANT consists of the design of a federally funded four (4) leg compact roundabout within the existing right-of-way (ROW) at the intersection of Main Street and Harbor Avenue in the Freeland business district of Island County, Washington. The general scope of work includes completion of a topographic survey, and preliminary design Plans, Specifications, and Estimates (PS&E) for a compact roundabout. The CONSULTANT will assist the AGENCY Project Manager at the time of construction with any unforeseen tasks. Tasks may include but are not limited to the following: Preparation of a Full Topographic Survey and Existing Conditions for Plan Development. Development of full plan sets, stamped by a Washington State Licensed Engineer. All CAD drafting and design work completed in a manner consistent with Island County CAD standards. The AGENCY reserves the right to retain the services of the successful firm for any subsequent project phases. Consultant DBE goal is 0% for this project. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this time.
