Site work and paving for a civil project in Freeland, Washington. Conceptual plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; and road / highway.
The work to be performed by the CONSULTANT consists of the design and construction support of a fish passable replacement culvert for parallel culverts #393 and #394, located at the intersection of East Harbor Road and Goss Lake Road in Island County, Washington. This includes evaluating existing hydraulic conditions upstream and downstream of culverts #393 and #394. The general scope of work includes preliminary site characterization, collection and analysis of hydraulic data, collection and analysis of geotechnical data, environmental permitting and monitoring, and the design and installation of a fish passable replacement culvert. The project will require the design and installation of at least one retaining wall. Tasks may include but are not limited to the following: - Preparation of a Hydraulic Report - Preparation of a Geotechnical Engineering Report - Provide geotechnical field inspection during construction - Preparation of a Biological Site Assessment and other reports necessary for permitting - Fish passage design to meet current standards and regulations - Development of full plan sets, stamped by a Washington State Licensed Engineer The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
