Renovation of a playground / park / athletic field in Freeland, Washington. Completed plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field.
Project includes: Remove wood decking and replace with 1-1/2 fiberglass grating. Install support as required. Replace bull rails, sleepers, legs, and skids, rub rails, hinges, and brackets in kind. Replace damaged structural elements as needed. Floats will be removed from the piles and transported to the designated construction area. All work will occur above the Ordinary High-Water Mark. The dock is in need renovation and upgrades to meet the new standards that are required by regulatory agencies. Island County parks is issuing a Request for Proposals (RFP) to qualified licensed General Construction Contractors for the Repair and Renovation of the Freeland Dock.
