Site work and new construction of a residential development in Laurens, South Carolina. Completed plans call for the construction of a four-unit residential development.

Quinn Builders was the only bid submitted. The owner and Quinn are working through contract details and estimate a Q1 2023 Start with 9-months construction time. For new construction of four (4) duplex homes within the City of Laurens. Genesis Homes was awarded funds through SC State Housing Finance & Development Authority for construction and federal requirements will apply. The funding sources are HOME and South Carolina Housing Trust Fund. Electronic bids will be accepted. A Performance and Payment Bond in the amount of 100 percent of the contract sum shall be required. All contractors shall be properly licensed under the State Laws governing their trade (State of South Carolina). The right to accept or reject any or all bids and waive informalities is reserved. Genesis Homes is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Local residents, women, minority owned businesses, and Section 3 businesses (as defined by 24 CFR 75) are encouraged to participate in the bidding process. EOE, EHO. Davis Bacon rules do not apply to this project.
