The Lowell Regional Water Utility is seeking bids to provide the installation four fixed network R900 gateways and antennas. WORK INCLUDED: A. The Owner has an existing Neptune R450 AMI system in place and is upgrading to a Neptune R900 Gateway system. All work performed as part of this project shall not interfere with the Owner’s existing R450 AMI system so that the two systems will run in parallel until the eventual retiring of the R450 system. B. Gateways, enclosure, antennas, brackets, UPS, and POE injector and magnetic antenna mounting base (if required) will be supplied by the Owner, supplied under a separate contract. C. The work of this contract includes, but is not limited to: 1. Installation of four fixed network R900 gateways and antennas at the following locations. i. Greater Lowell Technical High School Tower ii. Wedge Street Water Tank iii. Tenth Street Water Tank iv. Oakland Fire Station Tower 2. Provide project management, on-call assistance services, warranty services, and technical support services, for a period of at least one (1) year following substantial completion of the project. These services and warranties shall be extended if required elsewhere in the specifications. Project management services shall include attendance at project status update meetings.
