The Township of West Orange, New Jersey, County of Essex, is seeking companies to perform Snow Removal Services from Sidewalks, Paths, Crosswalk and Bus Shelters and Stops within the Township for 2022-2023 with the options for two (2) one (1) year extensions. Bids received after that time will not be accepted. Bidders are required to comply with the Affirmative Action pursuant to N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27, and have a New Jersey Business Registration Certificate P.L. 2004. Each bidder shall provide a Certified Check or Cashiers Check or Bid Bond for ten percent (10%) of the bid but not to exceed $20,000 or be less than $500.00. Successful bidders upon the award of a contract will be required to submit a performance bond for 100% of the award amount. Bidders will also be required to complete and return other documents identified within the bid materials. Failure to comply with Instructions to bidders and to complete and submit all required forms may be cause for disqualification and rejection of bid. All Bidders must submit to the Township a Business Registration Certificate issued by the New Jersey Division of Revenue, PL 2004 c.57 (NJSA 52:32-44) and NJSA 40A: 11-23.2, with their Bid.
