Establish a binding contract with the low bidder to undertake flood recovery activities from the 2022 Spring Flood event for the areas identified. 2. Establish hourly rates for equipment required to undertake activities as directed. The Work in this Non-Bonded Tender No.:X31547 is generally described below: The work in this Tender is a part of the Provinces flood recovery efforts and mainly consists of the repair of flood damages on the Red River Floodway, vicinity of Winnipeg, MB. The Contractor shall provide the specified equipment able to complete the following work activities as required, as directed by the Engineer, including but not limited to: Remove debris from the Floodway Channel and stockpile at designated locations Remediate Erosions sites Excavate material Drain cleanouts Remove debris from drains, around culverts and bridges Place rip-rap Replace and / or Repair culvert crossings Repair low level crossings Placing, spreading, and compacting granular material Spreading Excavated material Load and haul materials as required Traffic Management For tracking and payment purposes, this work will be separated into five (5) Sections outline in the Special Provisions.
