Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to a civil project in Columbus, Georgia. Completed plans call for the addition of a water / sewer project; for the demolition of a water / sewer project; for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
As of January 25, 2023, the project has been awarded. A timeline for construction and contract award amount have not been confirmed. South Columbus Water Resource Facility (SCWRF) Solids and Fine Screening- CMAR Based on the information contained in the Proposals & potential interviews, the Owner will select a Proposal that is most advantageous to the Owner. The Project consists of: pre-construction consultation & construction of new additions & modifications to the existing water resource facilities including thickening & dewatering building; secondary fine screening at the existing grit structure; building & appurtenant facilities; chemical storage & feed systems; site piping, & all associated site, architectural, mechanical, electrical, & instrumentation & control work. The Owner will in no way be liable for any costs incurred by any Proposer in the preparation of its Proposal in response to this Request for Proposal. The successful Proposer will not be required to provide Performance & Payment Bonds for Pre-Construction Services Contract. Performance Bond & Payment Bond each in the amount of 100% of the Guaranteed Maximum Price Contract amount at the time of GMP Contract Agreement for Construction execution. Deadline for Submission of Questions and Requests for Clarification October 27th , 2022
