The Port of Whitman County is seeking proposals for a Contract to provide inspection and maintenance supervision for its fiber optic system. The proposed Contract covers work in Eastern Washington and Northern Idaho including Whitman County - Asotin County - and Spokane County in WA and Latah County and Nez Perce County in ID. This Contract includes all emergency responses and maintenance requirements of the Port's Fiber Optic System consisting of a fiber optic network and associated aerial and underground infrastructure.Basic Scope of WorkThe Fiber Optic System Inspection and Maintenance Oversight Contract shall include work as inspectors and construction oversight of the Port's fiber network and facilities. This work will be for preventative maintenance and emergency callouts within the areas of coverage for the purpose of assisting emergency response contractors in the repair of conduit and/or fiber - both aerial and buried.
