Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Charlottesville, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The City of Charlottesville requests a price quotation for the services described in the "Scope of Service" section provided below. This solicitation is subject to the provisions of the City of Charlottesville's General Terms and Conditions and any other special terms and conditions provided with this document. The City will assume no responsibility for oral instruction, suggestion, or interpretation; any question regarding the bid documents shall be directed in writing, and any material change will be submitted to all bidders. Awards shall be based on determination of the lowest responsive responsible bidder. All work described herein and in the Related Documents is included as part of this solicitation unless otherwise specified. The scope of services generally includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the following: A. Removal and replacement of sidewalk B. Removal and replacement of curbing C. Removal and replacement of curb and gutter D. Removal and replacement of driveway entrance E. Removal and replacement of ADA ramps F. Removal and replacement of asphalt G. Altering existing structures including water meters, valves, catch basins etc. H. Provision of all necessary traffic control, with all such efforts in full compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act and with standards and guidelines set forth in the Virginia Work Area Protection Manual
