Request for Proposal RFP # 23-22 Design-Build Services for a Restroom Addition at 3000 Highway 42 North Henry County Government is seeking qualified Design/Build teams to design and construct a new restroom addition to the existing County owned building, located at 3000 Highway 42 North, Stockbridge, GA 30281. The design shall be loosely based on the Concept Design by the Henry County Facilities Maintenance department. Actual plans and specifications can be modified as necessary due to existing site conditions. The building will be comprised of approximately 1,050+/- square feet; Parcel #069-01008011. The Contractor shall furnish all materials, labor, tools, equipment and services necessary in the performance of this RFP. Proposals may not be withdrawn for sixty (60) days after the time and date set for closing, except as allowed by OCGA. Henry County reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive any technicalities. Deadline for requests for clarifications and questions. The Bid Bond shall be forfeited to Henry County, Georgia as liquidated damages if the Bidder fails to execute the Contract and provide Performance and Payment Bonds within fifteen (15) calendar days after being notified that he has been awarded the Contract. The Bid Bond shall be in the form of a surety issued bond made payable to the Henry County Board of Commissioners. The Surety Company shall be licensed to do business in the State of Georgia and listed in the Department of the Treasury Circular 570, latest edition. The Surety Company shall have an A.M. Best Company minimum rating of "A" with a financial size of VI "6" or better The Owner will require 100% Performance and Payment Bonds. If awarded the Contract, the bidder will execute the Contract and provide the bond(s) as required by the Specifications.
