Renovation of a residential development in Marengo, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.

The City of Marengo is seeking bids for the following projects for 228 South State which includes: Windows/Door Restoration o Remove existing nine (9) thermal panes o Install new and caulk Painting, in conjunction with other facade improvements o Paint the following areas of the building: Back side - brick Back side - lower Back side - upper Front side - lower Front side - upper Left side - lower Left side - upper Repair or replacement of deteriorated or missing architectural details Removal and replacement of inappropriate features Rear or side facade improvements (facing public spaces) The projects are funded with federal funding under the McHenry County Community Development Block Grant Program. Proof of Workman's Compensation and liability insurance must be submitted with a sealed bid. Contractors and subcontractors must be fully insured and cannot be debarred, suspended or otherwise excluded from receiving federal funding or working on state or federally funded projects. Prevailing wage requirements apply as bids must be submitted using applicable Davis-Bacon and Illinois Prevailing Wage rates (whichever is higher). Contractors and subcontractors are required to complete certified payroll sheets (Form WH-347 Women Business Enterprise and Minority Business Enterprise (WBE/MBE) and Section 3 businesses are encouraged to apply.
