Site work for a road / highway in Thomasville, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.

The work consists of Landfill Scale Replacement. The County recommends using an over-night service or hand delivering the RFP response. The period for ending questions shall be October 28, 2022. Direct all inquiries concerning this RFP to: Dwayne Childress Support Services Director (336) 242-2030 or Charlie Brushwood Landfill Director (336) 240-0303 The County reserves the right to accept or reject all or any part of any proposal, waive informalities, and award the contract to best serve the interest of the County. The Davidson County, NC intends to enter into a contract with a qualified firm to provide services to include the provision and installation of truck scales for the County Landfill Facility Phase 1 located at 220 Landfill Road, Lexington, NC, 27292. The Davidson County Landfill Facility receive a variety of citizen derived waste. The replacement truck scales would take the place of a set that has been in continuous use for the last 29-years, which are past their useful lift. The selected vendor will be required to do a turnkey install and set up. Prior to any installation all drawings, materials, locations, etc. are to be approved by the Landfill project manager.
