Construction Funding FY: 2024 This project includes the preparation of final design documents for construction of:
1. Signalizing the intersection of McCulloch Blvd at Jamaica Blvd. Possible retaining wall needed on SW corner.
2. Two solar-powered rectangular rapid flash beacons and sidewalk modifications to accommodate ADA requirements at
existing crosswalks on Acoma Blvd at Clubhouse Dr and Wood Ln.
3. Two solar-powered speed feedback signs on Acoma Blvd approaching Wood Ln.
4. Two solar-powered speed feedback signs on McCulloch Blvd approaching El Dorado Ave. The designer's scope of work includes:
Conduct the required technical analyses and prepare reports including, but not limited to, hydraulic analysis and geotechnical analysis.
Develop plans, specifications, and estimate for construction.
Environmental analysis and technical reports to support ADOT EP in providing the Categorical Exclusion.
Utility coordination as required for U&RR clearance.
Right-of-way coordination as required for R/W clearance. ROW acquisition not anticipated. Identification of any ROW
needs shall be made as early as possible in the project development process.
Submittals will include Stage II, Stage III, Stage IV, and final sealed documents.
Conduct management and administrative tasks including coordination, meetings, schedule updates, comment responses, etc.
Document retention, project schedule, and risk register updates within the Workfront platform will be required.
The design of the project will meet or exceed AASHTO, FHWA, ADOT, PROWAG, MUTCD, and local standards.
