Demolition and site work for a mixed-use development in Wayne, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a industrial development; for the demolition of a 4,100-square-foot industrial development; and water / sewer project.
A certified check or bank draft payable to Wayne County, or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder, and an acceptable Surety in an amount equal to 10% of the total Bid, shall be submitted with each bid. The Commissioners reserve the right to reject any or all bids or waive any informalities in the Bidding. Bids may be held by the Commissioners for a period not to exceed 45 days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of the Bidder, prior to the award of the Contract. The Contract will be awarded to the lowest Responsible bidder. The work involves the demolition of a multi-story 4,100 square foot brick building approximately 1,640 cubic yards of excavation, approximately 3,120 square yards of subbase 6" Depth (Modified No. 2A), construction of an 54 foot by 122 foot underground stormwater detention basin including 540 lineal feet of 4 foot diameter ADS pipe, filter fabric, and 1,145 cubic yards of AASHTO number 3 stone, 2,500 square yards of non-woven geotextile fabric, installation of one manhole and one overflow structure, clearing and grubbing with selective tree removal and top soil seeding and mulching.
