LTBB receives funding to provide affordable housing to the LTBB Community Members. As a function of these funds, Little Traverse Bay Bands of Odawa Indians (LTBB) has over thirty rental units located within the Tribal Boundaries that the LTBB Housing Department is responsible for managing and providing upkeep and repairs. One of those units is located at 1431 US 31 in Petoskey Michigan and LTBB is soliciting proposals to inspect and repair/replace ceiling. A. All work is performed in accordance with the applicable codes, safety standards, and adhere to the general provisions of the contract documents B. Must work with LTBB Housing to schedule prior to work starting and to gain entrance. C. Contact Emmet County to obtain any required permits and inspections necessary for installation. LTBB will require copies of permit and inspection reports. D. Responsible for contacting inspectors to schedule and conduct inspection, as required. E. LTBB will require copies of all permits and inspections. F. Erect safety barriers and signage to cordon off work area for safety G. Erect plastic barrier walls to contain dust, debris, and moisture in work areas. H. Place protective coverings on floors in work area by placing plastic sheeting over ducts, counters and finished walls inside containment to mitigate contamination where work effects any interior areas as needed. I. Remove existing ceiling tiles and inspect sub ceiling for damages. J. Repair any damages to sub ceiling. K. Reinstall ceiling with new ceiling. LTBB prefers installing drywall and finishing to match but alternatives may be considered. L. Thoroughly clean, dust and vacuum interior in affected areas. M. Responsible for repairs in areas where Contractor's equipment damages said areas. N. Responsible for cleaning, removing, and disposal of all debris resulting from this project and removing from site.
