Renovation of a mixed-use development in Bethany, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The project consists of: work at both the Okaw Valley High School (OVHS) in Bethany, IL, and Okaw Valley Middle School (OVMS) in Findley. The work at OVHS consists of renovations to the existing band room including finishes, casework, and addition of A/C. Work at OVMS consists of three defined scopes of work. Renovations and remodel of the existing foods lab to support foods and general science. Renovations to one additional classroom. And renovation of the original main entry vestibule to provide a new secured entry, complete with accessible stair ramp system, storefront enclosures, addition of (4) new parking spaces, and all associated site work. A single stipulated sum bid will be received for all Work. A Bid Bond and Performance and Payment Bond will be required. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all offers, or to waive any informalities in the bidding. The successful bidder must agree to conform to the current rules and regulations of the Fair Employment Practices Commission. Attention is called to the provisions of Equal Employment Opportunity. Contractor shall not pay less than the prevailing rates of wages as determined by the Illinois Department of Labor to all laborers, workers and mechanics performing work under this contract, and shall comply with the requirements of the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130/1-12).
