Site work and new construction of a multi-residential development in Morris, Connecticut. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a multi-residential development; and for site work for a multi-residential development.
As of February 28, 2025, a timeline for construction has not yet been established. The Morris Housing Authority (MHA) is seeking proposals for architectural and engineering services for new affordable housing unit construction at 103 East Street, Morris, CT. A Septic Feasibility Study concluded that the site can support a maximum of 21 bedrooms. Well drilling is expected to occur in November 2022. MHA invites you to submit your proposals for providing architectural and engineering services for this project. Selection will be based on information submitted in response to the Request for Proposals (RFP), on the basis of the items outlined below. Interviews will be scheduled during December 2022, if necessary, to assist in final selection. Our intent is to make a selection by December 14, 2022. Interested parties may also contact David Berto at dberto@housingenterprises.com to receive the full RFP package and to be included on the list of interested parties to receive updates, addenda, etc. MHA reserves the right to rescind this Request for Proposals and re-issue at a later date for any reason. MHA reserves the right to award in part, to reject any and all proposals in whole or in part, or to waive technical defects, irregularities and omissions if, in its judgment, the best interests of the Housing Authority will be served.
