The City of Duncan’s Operation Department is requesting proposals from electrical contracting firms to participate in the implementation of the Control System Upgrade project. Work will include project coordination and the labour, material, and equipment to supply and install control panels and instrumentation, electrical installation, commissioning and start-up support. The intent of this project is to upgrade the Control System currently in place at all water and sewer sites throughout the City, to bring the systems up to current technology and standards, and allow for future expansion. The 10 sites include the following lift stations, wells, reservoirs, and storm sewer sites: 1. Well 2 2. Well 3 3. Well 4 4. Well 5 5. Eagle Heights Reservoir 6. Gibbons Reservoir 7. 3rd Street Lift Station 8. Cowichan Way Lift Station 9. Marchmont Pumphouse – Sewer Water Management 10.
