Demolition, site work and addition to a mixed-use development in Phoenix, Arizona. Conceptual plans call for the addition of a 150,000-square-foot conference / convention center; and 400-room hospitality development.
Project work includes vertical expansion of the Phoenix Convention Center’s South Building including construction of a hotel adjacent to the convention center. Plans are also being considered for redeveloping the existing parking garage across from the West Building into an additional hotel. As of March 30, 2026, this project is in the planning and feasibility phase following a conceptual master plan. The Owner is currently exploring scope options. Project is expected to be completed through a public and private partnership. Information regarding a design team and the contractor selection has not been disclosed. A firm timeline for construction has not been established.
