Interior remodel of the existing second floor into sleeping rooms. Installation of a new fire sprinkler system. The projects include: 1. Project A-General Construction: Includes all project scope described in the bidding documents, excluding the design and installation of the Fire Protection System (Project B). The contractor selected for Project A will be required to work with the Owner and the contractor selected for Project B in the execution of the work. 2. Project B-Fire Protection System design and installation: Includes the complete installation of a fire protection system as identified on sheets C1.0 and A0.1 to protect the entire building. The scope of Project B includes a new water service to serve the requirements of the Fire Protection System. The existing building will be available for a guided pre-bid tour at prescheduled times for interested bidders who are pre-registered with the Architect. The total quantity of contractors included in each tour will be limited to allow spacing for social distancing. 1. All attendees at the pre-bid tours will be required to wear face masks and respect social distancing guidelines during the tour. Disposable face masks will be provided. 2. Anyone who can answer any of the following questions shall not attend the pre-bid tour: a. Have you or anyone in your household had a fever or lower respiratory illness symptoms (coughing, shortness of breath, sneezing) within the past 14 days or currently. b. Have you or anyone in your household come into contact (physical distance within six feet) with someone who is suspected or known to have the pandemic virus. c. Have you or anyone in your household been medically directed to self quarantine due to possible exposure to the pandemic virus.
