The District reserves the right to postpone the opening of proposals, accept or reject any and all proposals, and to waive any informality in any proposal, all as District deems to be in its own best interests. This is a public works project and is subject to prevailing wage requirements and the successful proposer, and each of its subcontractors, shall be required to comply with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations. A payment bond is required for this project. Wage rates can be obtained from the District by request. All proposers, and all subcontractors listed in any proposal, must be registered with the California Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) pursuant to California Labor Code section 1725.5. The project is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the DIR. The Education Services Center is an existing 73,722 square foot four story Administrative Building constructed with a steel super structure and tilt up concrete shell. 1.
