Job No. P-98-013-23, Various Phase I/II Projects, Various Routes, Various Counties, Region Five/District Eight. This project requires 10% DBE participation, or if the contract goal is not met, documented evidence of good faith efforts. The Complexity Factor for this project is 0.035. The Consultant who is selected for this project and all Subconsultants the Prime Consultant will be using are scheduled to attend an initial meeting on February 1, 2023, at 10:30 PM at the Region Five/District Eight Office in Collinsville. Phase I and/or Phase II engineering services are required for various deep well and pump station projects in District Eight. The Phase I work, if required, may include but not be limited to conducting hydraulic surveys, hydraulic analyses, preparing hydraulic reports, assessing condition of existing pump stations, deep wells to include electrical, mechanical and control systems, conducting systemwide analyses of pump stations and deep wells for short and longterm planning of improvements, defining rehabilitation alternatives, preparing recommendations and cost analyses, or other needs of the Bureau of Operations. The Phase II work, if required, may include but not be limited to plan review, preparing contract plans, special provisions and estimates, facility field testing and start-up and preparation of Operation and Maintenance manuals. The various proposed projects may consist of pump station repair and/or replacement, deep well rehabilitation and new well design, or other needs of the Bureau of Operations. Work Orders under the blanket agreement will be negotiated and authorized by the department on an as-needed basis. All work for this project may be in either English or metric. The Prime firm must be prequalified in the following categories to be considered for this project: Hydraulic Reports (Pump Stations) Special Plans (Pumping Stations) Statements of Interest, including resumes of only the key people noted above, must be submitted electronically to the Central Bureau of Design and Environment through the Engineering Prequalification and Agreement System (EPAS).
