Site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Seattle, Washington. Completed plans call for the renovation of a transportation facility; and for site work for a transportation facility.
Work includes: The Satellite Transit System (STS) Fiber project will install new cable tray, fiber optic cable and replace lighting within the STS train tunnels. The project will retrofit parts of the existing STS maintenance spaces to include building a room to accommodate additional server/computer equipment. Ancillary fire sprinkler, Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning (HVAC), and electrical work is expected The Engineer's estimate range for this project is $3 million - $5 million The WMBE utilization goal is 10.0% for this contract. The Port of Seattle, in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
