Renovation of a water / sewer project in Umatilla, Oregon. Design plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
Enlarge and upgrade the surface water diversion and related pipeline transmission facilities located on the south bank of the Columbia River, which is owned by the CTUIR. This system will allow the city to supply the data centers with raw water to meet their cooling needs, increase the flexibility of our potable water system by adding the ability to divert water at a second site and allow CTUIR's water to be discharged to maintain the Wanaket Wildlife Refuge and Wetlands. The design portion of this project is anticipated at $2.5 million, and the city’s portion of the construction is estimated at $25.2 million. As of September 17, 2025, this project is on hold the project is waiting on a permit from USACE in order to go to bid. The architect has been identified and information regarding the method of general contractor selection is unavailable. A firm construction timeline has not been established. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly.
