Renovation of a medical facility in Wooster, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 2,856-square-foot, two-story above grade medical facility.
As of July 3, 2023, construction is complete. A bid guaranty, as required by Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code, shall accompany each proposal submitted as follows: 1. A certified check, cashier s check, or letter of credit equal to 10% of the bid. A letter of credit may only be revocable by the Owner. Upon entering into a contract with the Owner, the contractor must then file bond for the amount of the contract, and the check will then be returned to the successful and unsuccessful bidders when the contract is executed. Or 2. A bond for the full amount of the bid. A bid is retained for the successful bidder, but returned to unsuccessful bidders after the contract is executed. Attention of the bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed under the Contract. Bidders are required to use the forms which will be furnished on application. The hospital reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to award the contract to the lowest and/or best bidder, and to waive any informalities in the bidding process.
