The City is seeking a qualified vendor to supply Traffic Paint & Supplies to be delivered to the city. The City of Oxnard, incorporated as a general law city in 1903, is located about sixty miles west of the Los Angeles Civic Center and about ten miles southeast of the City of Ventura. It is situated near the mouth of the Santa Clara River on a gently sloping alluvial fan commonly known as the Oxnard Plain. Elevations in the City range from mean sea level to about 100 feet above mean sea level. Today, the City of Oxnard has a population of more than 210,000 residents and its corporate limits cover an area of about 32 square miles. The Vendor shall provide pricing for essential products, supplies and equipment to be used in the daily operation for Public Works, Streets Division. Products will be for maintenance of the streets within the City of Oxnard, and can be cross referenced to any equivalent or "equal to" brand. The City is also requesting a general percentage discount for other products not in the item list, and access to full catalogs of other items in vendor's purview. Last day for Questions by Bidders November 28th , 2022 February 2023 Contracted work begins January 2023 Agreement Development/Negotiations The period of performance anticipated for this solicitation shall be for (3) three years (02/01/2023 through 01/31/26) or effective upon signature of an Agreement by both parties, unless terminated earlier.
