In general, the nature of the work involves the rehabilitation of the District's Water Treatment Plant's northwest and southwest filter backwash hood facilities including, but not limited to, the pump houses, backwash hoods, decks, crane bridges, bridge track systems, bridge drive systems, pumps, piping, valves, hydraulic system, coating, electrical instrumentation, disinfection, and start-up and testing. The work will be phased over two seasons (2024/2025 and 2025/2026), each between December 1 to May 1, in which one filter backwash hood facility will be rehabilitated in each season and be fully operational for use by District by May 1 of the that same season. The work is located at the District's Water Treatment Plant, located at 9935 Auburn Folsom Road, Granite Bay, CA.
