Site work for a water / sewer project in Granite Bay, California. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The proposed Work generally consists of the following: providing all labor, materials and equipment as required to install approximately 4,000 lineal feet (LF) of new 18-inch diameter Ductile Iron transmission pipeline, reconnecting to 8 distribution mains, reestablishing 17 water services (including removing and replacing water meter boxes and meters), installing 2 new fire hydrants, removing and replacing 1 fire hydrant, installing 5 new air release/air vacuum valves, and installing 2 water sampling station. All work will occur along Eureka Road, Granite Bay CA between Barton Road and Auburn/Folsom Road within Placer County, CA. Work also includes, but is not limited to, tie-ins connecting piping, valves, flushing and disinfection of the new system, abandonments, trenching, backfilling, and compaction, landscape restoration, and surface restoration in accordance with the Contract Documents. The project is being funded by the Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF). Completion- 230 calendar days, The Engineer's estimate for this project is $2,540,000.00
