Site work and paving for a civil project in Sidney, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; water / sewer project; and for paving for a road / highway.
Russell Rd. to Parkwood St. Any and all questions regarding the referenced project must be submitted through the Bid Express website no later than Monday, November 28, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. (EST). Questions submitted outside of Bid Express will not be answered. The project consists of abandoning the existing 8 and 10 cast iron water main and replacing with 10 PVC water main including gate valves, water service branches, fire hydrants, storm and sewer repairs, layout staking, and necessary concrete and pavement removals and restoration. Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal, a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security furnished in Bond form, shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. Bidders submitting electronically online must deliver original bid bond to City of Sidney so that it is received within three (3) business days of bid opening. Each Proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experiences on projects of similar size and complexity. The Owner intends and requires that this project be substantially complete no later than June 30, 2023 and fully complete and ready for final payment no later than July 14,2023.
