Renovation of a water / sewer project in Waterford Township, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The Oakland County Water Resources Commissioner (OCWRC) operates and maintains the Commerce Twp. Wastewater Treatment Plant (COT WWTP), which includes two Belt Filter Press (BFP) dewatering systems. Both BFP units share a common conveyor belt that lifts the dewatered cake into dumpsters which are filled and hauled to an approved landfill. The BFP units are utilized every Wednesday to dewater and remove the sludge collected in the facility's storage tanks throughout the week. The BFP units are currently utilizing the conveyor belt that they were initially installed with. This belt is at the end of its useful life and requires replacement. OCWRC is seeking bids for provision and installation of 3 (three) new BFP conveyor belts as specified in this solicitation. This solicitation includes the provision, shipping, delivery, installation, start-up, and warranty of the specified product.
