Demolition, site work, paving and asbestos abatement for a mixed-use development in Roanoke, Virginia. Completed plans call for the demolition of a swimming pool; for site work for a swimming pool; sidewalk / parking lot; water / sewer project; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for asbestos abatement for a swimming pool.

This project includes the complete demolition of the Washington Park Pool. Work to include, but not limited to, utility located marking, electrical relocation for parking lot lights, erosion and sediment control, asbestos removal, utility abandonment, asphalt restoration for utility abandonment, removal and disposal of pool and associated structures, backfill, and site restoration. Bids may not be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) calendar days after the opening of bids unless the bid is substantially lower than the other bids because of a clerical error. Pursuant to Section 2.2 - 4330 (B)(1), the bidder shall give notice in writing and shall submit the original work papers with such notice to the City of its claim of right to withdraw the bid within two (2) business days after the opening of bids The City expressly reserves the right to cancel this ITB and/or reject any or all bids, to waive any informality or irregularity in the bids received, and to accept a bid which is deemed to be in the best interest of the City.
