Site work and paving for a civil project in Potomac, Montana. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
The project generally consists of, but is not necessarily limited to: The installation of new water mains to replace existing water mains in North 5th Street West, North 6th Street West, and Kennett Avenue. This project also includes surface improvements with curb, sidewalk, ADA, and drywell sumps along North 5th Street West. More specifically, this includes new 8-inch ductile iron water mains, bored 8" HDPE water main, new fire hydrant assemblies, connections to existing mains, installations of new appurtenances, water service connections and swaps, abandonments of existing water mains, and surface restoration of disturbed areas including asphalt, concrete, gravel, landscaping, and irrigation. Contract Time Frame: 120 calendar days Allowable work dates: Earliest start of Spring 2023 (based on weather) Latest start of June 2, 2023 (so to be complete by date below and have necessary work done as stipulated below) Latest Allowable Substantial Completion Date: September 30, 2023 Work in North 5th Street shall be completed from station 9+00 to at least station 10+00 no later than July 1st , 2023. In addition, work in North 6th Street shall be completed from station 0+00 to 0+75 no later than July 1st , 2023. Contractor will be required to coordinate with the separate City of Missoula project for the Turner/Worden surface improvements project that will be occurring at a similar time and adjacent to this project.
