Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

As of January 12th, 2023 this project is pending an award decision. The work for which bids are asked includes the following: A. The 2023 Mariane Terrace and Pine Tree Lane Improvements project includes approximately 1400 LF full reconstruction of the existing roadway along with water main and stormwater utility improvements. The proposed project limits will begin at the intersection of Pine Tree Lane and North Lake Shore Drive and extend along the full length of Pine Tree Lane and Mariane Terrace to the end of the existing roadway. The existing roadway and base will be removed and a new proposed roadway cross section is to be installed including new road base, asphalt pavement, and curb throughout the project. Grading and restoration will be completed for disturbed areas. New watermain to include approximately 1400 LF of C900 watermain with hydrants and plastic water services within the project. The large existing storm catch basin at the intersection of Pine Tree Lane and Mariane Terrace is to be removed and new storm sewer is to be installed where needed. Sanitary improvements include only work necessary to allow structures and castings to match the new roadway. The project will also include a bid alternative to provide additional paved area along Mariane Terrace, between approximately Stations 51+00 and 53+50, which would include additional asphalt pavement and mountable curb and gutter. The anticipated substantial completion date is June 15, 2023 and final completion date is June 31, 2023. No proposal will be accepted unless accompanied by a certified check or bid bond equal to at least 5% of the amount bid, payable to the OWNER as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proper contract and bond within 15 days after the award of the contract. BIDDER is required to deliver the original certified check or bid bond within the 72 hours of bid opening to MSA Professional Services, Inc., Attn: Matthew Wathke, 1702 Pankratz Street, Madison, WI 53704. The certified check or bid bond will be returned to the bidder as soon as the contract is signed, and if after 15 days the bidder shall fail to do so, the certified check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the OWNER as liquidated damages. No bid may be withdrawn within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. OWNER reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids.
