The Clarksville-Montgomery County School System (CMCSS) is seeking a bid for full replacement of an existing roof area section measuring approximately 8,400 square feet. The affected area is the lower rear section of the building (southwest end adjacent to Washington Street and rear parking area). The work will include cleaning, preparation, and application of roofing materials per the project specifications. The existing Tectum deck shall remain in place if deemed serviceable. Any deck sections not deemed serviceable shall be replaced in kind. The finished roof shall have a manufacturer warranty of no less than twenty (20) years. Bidder shall be a fully authorized and certified installer of the specified and selected roof system by the system manufacturer. CMCSS is seeking this bid for the complete installation of items to include labor, material, equipment, site safety, and layout where necessary. Note: Contractors are required to make their own measurements for ordering materials. This work shall include site clean-up and proper removal of associated debris. Construction debris needs to be placed in a contractor-furnished dumpster and needs to be removed and properly disposed of off-site. Installation shall be per the attached specifications. Any Construction and installation activities shall be coordinated through CMCSS Operations and the building's Administration and Custodial staff upon written Notice to Proceed from the owner.
