Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Trinidad, Colorado. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
**As of February 21, 2023, project was awarded to RMS Utilities, Inc, awarded amount is $4,502,419.78.** The reconstruction of 1st Street from Chestnut Street to Convent Street, Maple Street from 1st Street to 2nd Street, and Chestnut Street from 1st Street to 2nd Street. The primary work elements consist of construction of an underground storm sewer system, 4" concrete sidewalk, 6" concrete pavement, Type 2 curb & gutter, aggregate base course and sanitary sewer manhole improvements, construction of underground electrical vaults and conduit, street light foundations, ADA improvements, and placement of brick pavers. The City of Trinidad reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive informalities, and to award orders for the items described either in whole or in part, if it seems to be in the best interest of the City to do so. All bids will be evaluated, and selections made as soon as possible after the bid opening. Award of bid is subject to approval by the Trinidad City Council. Bids shall be valid for a minimum of sixty days following the bid opening
