Materials Testing @Latimer Lane School The Town of Simsbury, through the Public Building Committee, is soliciting proposals for testing services for the Latimer Lane Elementary School project. Project details are as follows: Latimer Lane Elementary School will be renovated to as-new condition and receive two areas of addition with limited demolition of existing features. The final building area will total approximately 73,500 gross square feet and the additions will be of steel frame construction. Construction is scheduled to commence in early December 2022, with the project achieving substantial completion in December 2024. The project shall meet the State of Connecticut High-Performance Building requirements. The Architect is Tecton Architects, PC, and the Structural Engineer is Michael Horton Associates, Inc.
