The City of Altus, herein after called the City, is seeking bids to replace steel pipe, valves, wall penetrations and associated fittings as needed to rehabilitate the Pipe Gallery at the Altus Water Treatment Plant. Pipe diameters range from 18-inch to 42-inch. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to study all bids for thirty (30) days prior to bid award. The City reserves the right to award this bid in whole or in part as deemed in the best interest of the City. Bids received more than ninety six (96) hours before the time set for opening of bids, or any bid received after the time set for the opening of bids, shall not be considered and shall be returned unopened. The City does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, religion, age, veteran status or handicap status, in; employment decisions, the procurement of services, the selection of suppliers or awarding of bids and/or contracts. Award shall be based on a determination of the lowest qualified bid. "Qualified" is a determination by the City regarding the capability of the bidder to perform the work in good faith, with integrity and reliability as well as the materiality of the bidder's errors, omissions, or exceptions (if any). *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project.
